Alternative Education Teacher

  Full-time school year position for a certified high school teacher at Old

Orchard Beach /Saco Adult Education's

  Learning Center. Preferred candidates will

have a working knowledge of youth development, asset building, career

exploration, experiential learning, differential instruction, and successful

strategies for working with at-risk youth. Experience with the adult learner

helpful. Looking for a self- starter to work independently, access community

resources, and develop engaging alternative educational opportunities. The work

week is Monday -Thursday including two evenings. Salary range is $28,000-

$31,000 depending on experience.
