MAEA Membership is open to all people supportive of adult education. Memberships are annual based on a July-June fiscal year.

Public School-based Programs: Membership for public school-based programs includes membership status for employees of the local adult education program, including administration, teaching and support staff, as well as School Board and Advisory Council members. The amount of dues is based on the revenue the program receives in local, state and federal funding for adult education. Invoices are sent to eligible programs in April.

Professional Individual: This category of membership is open to individuals engaged in adult education or training, not affiliated with a public school as their primary professional responsibility. Annual dues: $35.

Retiree, Volunteer or Student: This category welcomes retired and volunteer individuals as well as students in adult education programs. Annual dues: $15.

Institutional Partners: This category includes corporate and organizational friends of adult education, with a specified number of individuals designated to receive communication from MAEA. Annual dues: $100 for up to 4 members. $10 for each additional member.
