We are already exploring offerings for the Winter/Spring semester so if you have an idea for a course you’d like to suggest, please contact us at adultedinfo@ellsworthschools.org or 207.664.7110.  We are YOUR adult education program.  If you represent an organization, we’re eager to connect with you about how we can work together to provide offerings to benefit the town of Ellsworth and its citizens.  I encourage you to reach out to us!

New Parking Spaces Make Reaching Lewiston High School Easier [Lewiston Adult Education]

Summer road work included the creation of parking spaces closer to Lewiston High School.

Lewiston Adult education students heading to classes at Lewiston High School will find access to the building has become much easier thanks to summer road work.

The dropoff and pickup lanes in front of Lewiston have expanded to include more parking spaces. The removal of a hedge that divided the lanes means that the entrance of the high school is much easier to see from the road.

All Lewiston Adult Education students enter the high school through the main entrance behind the flagpole. Staffers lead students to classrooms in the building.

Anyone in need of additional directions can call the Lewiston High School office at 207-784-2928.

Directors Message! [MSAD #40 Adult Education ]

Directors’ Message Fall in Love with Learning!

We are excited to start another school year with the mid-coast community! The past year brought growth and learning for both of us and we are eager to apply what we have learned to make this year even better! CLC and RSU 40 Adult & Community Education programs are dedicated to lifelong learning and community outreach. We are pleased to announce we will be partnering with Pam Moody who recently assumed the directorship of the adult education program in Boothbay Harbor and who has 30+ years of experience in the adult education field. Pam’s involvement will allow us to expand our services to the Boothbay area and reach even more academic and enrichment students! Welcome to our team, Pam! We are always looking for fresh ideas, new classes to offer, and ways to increase connections with our local communities. If you or someone you know has a skill/ knowledge they would be willing to share, please contact one of us to discuss the possibility of instructing a class. If there are classes you would like to see offered that we don’t currently have, please let us know what those are. We are continuing to offer the “Early Bird” special to show our appreciation to our customers. The discount is valid through Friday, September 21. Registrations after this date will not be eligible for the early bird special, so please register early! As life-long learners ourselves, we encourage you to “Fall in Love with Learning” by signing up for one or more of our fall course offerings. There is something for everybody and we can’t wait to get started!
