Leadership & Professionalism: MAEA members are offered avenues for career enhancement through service on committees, the Board of Directors, or as an officer.

Salary Survey: MAEA conducts an annual salary survey, the results of which are available to members only (email MAEA to obtain it). Click here to download the form and participate in the survey.

Certification Assistance: MAEA provides a system of contacts, materials and assistance for members seeking state certification or recertification. Click here to read more here.

Networking: MAEA represents the interests of its members in collaborative initiatives often involving partners from state government, or the University or Community College System. MAEA provides frequent e-mail updates to members and represents the field of adult education on the Board of Maine LEAD.

Promotion and Visibility: MAEA undertakes projects to increase awareness of adult education in Maine through products, media campaigns, and publications.
